Marc Jacobs to Marry

Last week backstage at Jacobs' Louis Vuitton show his partner Lorenzo Martone commented on how much fun it would be to marry at Christmas in St Barts.

Dear Readers,

According to
Women's Wear Daily, the American designer not only plans to celebrate the success of his Sao Paulo store during his current sojourn to Brazil-- Jacobs will also rejoice in a love that has led to engagement rings that now grace the left hands of both the fashion great and ad executive Lorenzo Martone.

The couple have declared their intent to say "I do" following a year-long romance. Presently enjoying the first days of betrothed bliss, the happy pair have not announced a wedding date.

YAY!!!!
I LOVE a gay wedding.
And I LOVE Marc Jacobs.

Hail to the Judge!

Dear Readers,

Wow, listen to this amazing interview between Larry King and Judge Judy.

Apart from the disastrous Prop 8 vote in the last American election, common sense will always prevail in the gay marriage debate. The general laws of humanity should be inclusive.. NOT exclusive.
And soon they will be, I have no doubt because Barack Obama has been dropping hints that he will support gay marriage. Michelle Obama has also been leaning in this direction. It's just a matter of time.

Anyways, I have always LOVED Judge Judy!!!!! She's fierce and apparently worth 100 million dollars.

Hey, I'm getting married soon and the feeling I have inside is incredible.
All I want is to be married and I'm blessed to have found the person I want to be with for the rest of my life.
I would love every gay man and woman to be able to do and feel the same.
Of course it's a fantasy at the end of the day and I understand that. This will not stop me from talking about gay marriage.
A Catholic country like the Philippines would NEVER allow gay marriage and I've accepted that.

Canada is amazing but so is Australia of course.

Even though gay marriage is not yet legal in Australia, co-dependency is recognized as was the case when I myself migrated under those terms in 1996 with my Australian partner who I enjoyed a beautiful very long term relationship with. Of course we remain the best of friends and continue to rely on each other for many things. The fact that we share our two gorgeous incredible dogs is enough to keep us on the best of terms. Our dogs remain everything to us and we both worship our animals.

In many ways Australia has been a leader in recognizing homosexual relationships since 1992. The country is just having a hard time jumping over the 'gay marriage' hurdle but I suspect with our new Labor government, it's only a matter of time. And I have no doubt that Australia will once again lead the world in homosexual rights and the implementation of laws that will bring the two communities together under the same marriage act.

I only wish the Philippines would consider the debate.
I LOVE the Philippines and know literally hundreds of people who would LOVE to make that ultimate commitment to their partner.

Marriage between two men or two woman is such a beautiful thing.
Marriage between any two people is marvellous.

Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri is a Pothead!?

Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri

That darned excuse of an elected official is actually seen by city hall workers smoking pot inside the office.

The rumors of his illegal drug use are rampant and now they are coming out in the open.

The smell of marijuana can often be detected in and around the mayors offices.

Is the Mayor a druggie?

Niagara Calling

Niagara Falls are truly amazing to behold.

Dear Readers,

I woke up this morning
(1030 hehe) to the weirdest vibrating sensation underneath me.
Due to the fact that I sleep alone, this came as a surprise.
I fell asleep last night heavy and somehow my mobile phone got lodged between the bed and my backside.
My phone is
never more then twenty inches from my body at any given time but this was ridiculous I thought. My butt cheek was vibrating.
I fall asleep holding my phone and most of the time I wake up holding it which is a terrible habit I picked up on Boracay. But sometimes it gets lost in my sheets and today it got lost up my ass.
Like I said, my phone is never far from me.
In case my boyfriend calls or texts.

Because NOTHING puts me in a bigger funk than missing one of his precious calls.
Very few people have my number.
About ten people and that's how I like it.
People reach me through my facebook and that's also how I like it.

After letting the phone vibrate a few times I answered and jumped to my feet.
It was my best girl on the phone inviting me to join a family trip to Niagara Falls. I didn't have to think twice because I could see the day was going to be a perfect dazzler as soon as I peered out the window and saw nothing but crystal blue sky. I stepped out on the balcony to find the air more than adequate for a quick trip to the falls so I said "SURE babe!"
Anyone who has been to Niagara Falls knows that weather plays a very important part of your visit. Miserable weather equals a miserable trip but today was the exact opposite of miserable. It was perfecto!

I hopped out of bed and bolted for the shower to have the fastest wash and shave of my life. I prepared in about three minutes flat and that included my eye gel application, wrinkle serum for my forehead and a toner for my neck nose and chin. And a spot of calming lavender oil on my wrists(it's girly but it really works for me) This little twenty year long routine of mine has paid great dividends because my skin looks fantastic for 39! I brush my gob in the shower so I like to think that's my multi tasking done for the day. After dressing rapid fire, I flew out the door.

I still had to dash to Starbucks before hopping on the streetcar. I absolutely cannot start my day without my life blood/coffee. When I was diagnosed with diabetes, the first thing I asked the doctor was "Do I have to stop drinking coffee?" Giving up chocolate was easy but coffee? No way!
I only have one coffee a day
(Venti quad shot with breve creme milk, extra hot, light foam with a caramel swirl on top...pretty gay right?), but a day without it is unimaginable. Even on a good day.

Spending time with my favorite people is always on the top of my 'things to do more often' list.
When my best girl came to visit the farm in Australia we drove the breathtaking coast for thousands of kilometers in my poor long suffering Range Rover. We beat the shit out of that poor truck but we always ended up safe and sound at our destination. I'd like to think I'm an excellent driver because I talk a lot and keep everyone awake and alert. But they would probably say I never shut up. It's true.

My first of two frosty lunch beers.
Stella of course!

As a family we talked and we laughed all the while taking heaps of pictures.
I actually had a full day planned today before the vibrating wake up call.
As soon as I met up with the family, I canceled a doctors appointment and we were off!
What a great decision I made right off the mark this morning.
The falls were awesome and so was our drive.
I love my Filipino family.

I love a rainbow

Americas Next Top Insanity

One minute you're in line trying to become Americas next top model.
Then this happens.
It's amazing how people react and behave.

The casting call for the television show descended into chaos, with six women injured and three people arrested.

Thousands of aspiring models queued in short skirts and high heels outside the Park Central Hotel in Manhattan over the weekend, some waiting all night for a chance to compete in the latest round of the popular TV series.

As women stumbled over police barricades, witnesses told a local radio station that the mayhem was compounded after a man jumped out of a car and started grabbing purses.

After the stampede, shoes and clothing littered the street outside the hotel.

"The girls were running like it was 9/11 part two. I feared for my life," said Jennifer Brown, an aspiring model from Brooklyn.

"It was pretty scary," said Jessica Paravati, a prospective contestant who had camped out overnight in the queue.

New York police said two women and a man were arrested on charges of inciting a riot and disorderly conduct.

At least six women needed medical attention after being crushed or fainting due to lack of food.

Some would-be contestants blamed poor organisation of the event.

Women were unable to go off to leave to get food or use the lavatory without losing their place in the queue.

Most of the women were still queuing when police told them that the auditions were over and that the organisers had already packed up and gone home.

Chika Forever Pt2

BB doing what he does best, kicking back being BryanBoy

Dear Readers,

Of course this post is causing some controversy on Victorina.
I expect nothing less.

This article originally appeared on Victorina Blog- 10 12 09
Part 2 of Who is Chikatime
Brian Gorrell

BACKSTABBING. BACKBITING. BACKFIRING.

I ask you readers, in any battle, would you rather see your enemy charging towards you or have them sneak up behind you? A bullet in the back can really put a damper on your day, but if it's fired from the front, at least you have .15 seconds to make amends with your creator (which, in my case, is my mummy).
For sure.

Chikatime had a fully pumped magazine of high-powered bullets. And those bullets found their targets; that’s for sure. A whole bunch of debris was strewn everywhere as a result, and Manila’s high society was left like a action hero movie post blood bath and carnage. Chalk outlines, all over the show.

CSI: Chikatime. Bloody, and until now, unsolved.

NOW IS THE TIME TO SOLVE IT.

Battles have been fought in the 'front line' for years. It makes sense and as a result, I see no reason why this should change.
You should be able to look at your enemy in the eye. Always. And this is why I am so against anonymous blogs and anonymous bloggers. I despise anon bloggers, especially those who are waging battles. They don’t fight fair and square.
It's pathetic, gutless. If you have the courage to write it, then you should have the courage to own it. Otherwise, you are as pathetic as the very people you are writing about. OWN IT or shut the computer off!

The Chikatime gossip site had no reason except to titillate and occupy the dark side of the Philippines lust for all things chika chika chika. The Philippines has a permanent Viagra boner for all things chika. And it's solid as a rock!

Guess who wrote it?

Bryanboy is Chikatime! No other than the baklang third world who is so gay he sweats glitters.

Look, Bryanboy was only filling the insatiable appetite for the dark side of revelation and explosive tittle tattle that Manila has. And it's not his fault some people were photographed snorting cocaine in the toilets of Embassy 'not so super club'. Someone obviously sent BB that picture and I too would have posted it, although you would KNOW who posted it in my case. I am unafraid to be known to my readers as I own everything I write.

"The poor have more time to gossip", a Filipina friend told me once. I almost died when she said this to me. "What a load of bloody rubbish" I told her. Chika is in our blood regardless of your income or social status of the country you live in. Chika is GLOBAL.

We are all Chikatime if you really want to be honest.

Sure Bryanboy is the creator Chikatime site, but we all fueled the site with our insatiable appetite for the gossip found there. Our mouse clicks made Chikatime popular. I always say, don't shoot the messenger... shoot the message. And BryanBoy had the only flute and he danced along the gossip trail with thousands of people following his tune. Some people never missed a single beat, checking Chikatime every ten minutes terrified or hoping they were going to be on it. Sadistic but true as I've spoken to many people who appeared on Chikatime. Not all of them are angry. Trust me.

BryanBoy was the Philippines very own Pied Piper, leading many thousands of people into the valley of rich dark secrets and tales of unbridled debauchery and ridiculousness. I believe that having the ability to defend yourself is most paramount in any battle (land or cyber) but in order to do the effectively, you have to have information on your opposition as this makes strategy easier depending on the accuracy of the information of course. You need to know who they (enemy) are, or what hope in hell do you have? If your enemy is invisible, you stand no chance.

Anonymity is afforded to those people who for some reason or another are reluctant to expose themselves in public due to rational and irrational concerns over their safety and privacy.Look, it's very simple. I truly believe as a blogger, that if you wrote, you have to own it, lock stock and barrel. I stand behind everything I've ever written on my blog and people know that.
And so should BryanBoy. The time has come for the real Chikatime to stand up and be acknowledged. Bryan Boy, stand up. Get a book deal mate! Turn this lemon into a lemonade stand. You are a very enterprising young fella.

If you are a blogger with a fair share of enemies, there are plenty of people behind you ready to plunge-in a bayonet. And yes some are even in front of you, wearing a smile and extending out for affection and reinforcement all the while retaining just enough dexterity and precision for the final blow between ribs three and four. These people wield the most jagged of all blades.

And BryanBoy should be man enough to accept ownership of Chikatime.

Part three to follow.
