NoteSlate Posted: 16 Feb 2011 07:30 AM PST After Amazon’s successful product, the ‘Kindle’, another company has launched a cool office gear that makes good use of the eInk technology. The NoteSlate is a device that features a writing surface which lets you digitally write or draw anything in white, black, green, blue or red. In addition, you can store data and transfer it to your computer via USB connection or SD card slot and can operate up to 180 hours of work. Personally, there are 3 things that I like about the NoteSlate – First is the special pen with an eraser, next is its three button physical interface that lets you save current screen, show last screen and delete current screen and finally, a 3.5mm headphone jack that lets you listen to MP3. $100. El Mariachi Trilogy Posted: 16 Feb 2011 04:02 AM PST Nothing gets a man to siesta faster than a good-old-fashioned bloodbath in the barrio. Robert Rodriguez delivered endless fun with his films including El Mariachi, Desperado and Once Upon A Time in Mexico. Get all three movies in Blu-ray from this special package. See Antonio Banderas pretend to be a professional hitman while moonlighting as a member of a mariachi band. Danny Trejo, as always, terrifies the bejesus out of the viewers in his effective portrayal as a prototypical Mexican baddie. Just don’t overdo your siesta or you’ll be in heaps of trouble yourself. $15. Share This |

Oakley A FRAME Goggles Posted: 16 Feb 2011 04:00 AM PST Hit the slopes in style with the Oakley A FRAME Goggles. It cuts glare in the best possible way with High Definition Optics (HDO) on the Plutonic lens that passed ANSI standards for optical quality, high mass and high velocity impact. Toshiba Portege R830 Posted: 16 Feb 2011 04:00 AM PST Calling a heavy, underpowered and under-performing mobile computer is an oxymoron. Which is not what the newest Toshiba Portege R830 mobile PC is all about. It runs on Intel’s Second Generation CPU, most likely a Sandy Bridge and it comes with 8GB RAM, 64GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 3.0. The exterior dimensions measure 316x227x18.3-mm, or 12.4×8.9×0.72-inches. Toshiba claims that the Portege R830′s batteries can operate for a full day, though that remains to be seen. And the magnesium alloy construction means that it won’t break your back while you lug it around town. $TBA. Share This |
