They may have been late to the tablet party but Motorola tries to make up for their tardiness. They’re releasing the Xoom in the market and Best Buy is now taking pre-orders for it. What sets the Xoom apart is the fact that it’s the first tablet to be powered by Android 3.0 Honeycomb – the OS that’s made specially for tablets. It’s a dual-core ensemble with front and rear cameras, fully functional HD camera, 10.1-inch touchscreen and all the trimmings of a real PC. It’s also loaded with 3G in areas where you can get subscription, of course. $800.
